Agency Links added to InsuranceYak - get yours!

I’ve added an Agency Links section to this site to help promote local independent agencies throughout the US.  If you own or work at an agency, please leave a comment and I’ll add your site to my list. If you’ve never blogged or have the urge to write something without playing “Mother may I ?”  with corporate compliance, leave me a comment and I’ll get in touch with you.  I always appreciate the input of intelligent people, even if I don’t agree with them.

Ground Rule:

  1. No Primerica Agents - ‘nuf said
  2. Captive agents - OK with at least 2 years of experience.

As a firm believer in insurance professionals,  this site will always recommend the advise of local independent agents.  This site does contains links to insurance related advertisements; clicking them pays for the upkeep of this site, but keep this in mind: one day you’ll need an insurance professional, why not give them the business today?

This is a great idea. It’s incredibly difficult for a small independent agency to acquire backlinks and compete against the big boys on the web. I have been trying to build a site like yours for some time now (may never happen) just to get some pagerank built up in order to help other independent agents like you are doing here. Kudos, and THANKS!

Thanks for the offer of the link. Even us niche specialists need the occasional boost.

Ernesto, good to see you still write about insurance every once in a while. I’d appreciate a link. Even though it’s not an agency, it is designed for independent agents to find new people. It’s, um, different… which is a good thing.
