Allstate back in business: Florida Stop order Reversed

Allstate Florida got a court order lifting the suspension issued by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.  Florida OIR has ten days to show why the suspension should be reinstated.

In a written statement, Allstate said, “The ruling allows Allstate’s more than 1,100 Florida agents and their employees to continue to create jobs and serve their communities while we continue to provide the OIR with information.”

IMHO, Allstate should have used the opportunity to get out of Florida before the next hurricane.  I feel bad for Allstate agents in Florida; working for Allstate is burden enough without having to deal with this on-again off-again suspension.
