This just in..
The British tabloid, The Daily Mirror, reported the famed singer requested a $6.8 million insurance policy for his chest hair. The underwriters at Lloyd’s of London reviewed the unusual request and agreed to write the policy.
The Tom Jones website responded:
” The story published in the Daily Mirror (UK) on Feb 5 is completely fabricated. No such insurance policy exists or has ever been considered. We assume this is just the Mirror having a bit of fun and hope no one takes this kind of ‘reporting’ seriously. ”
Still this brings up several questions:
- Who’d they find to be the loss-control inspector?
- How would a partial claims me paid..by the hair?
- Coverage for pre-mature greying?
- For a replacement, would they require a custom job or is off-the-shelf replacement hair acceptable.
Ah, nothing better than a slow news day.
